Bowie Golf & Country Club

From the West (Montgomery County):

Take University Blvd (Rte 193) east into Greenbelt Rd. (Rte 193) into Glendale Rd (which is still Rte 193) to its intersection with Annapolis Rd. (Rte 450).Turn left (East) onto Rte 450, continuing to its intersection with Laurel-Bowie Rd (Rte 197). Turn left (North) onto Rte 197, continuing on Rte 197 through the traffic light (shopping center on left); after passing Whithall Drive (on your right), get into your left lane on Rte 197. Entrance to Bowie Country Club will be on your left side, about 50 yards past the Heartfields Senior Assisted Living Complex, which is also on your left (Rockledge Elementary School is on the right side of Rte 197, opposite the golf course entrance).

From the Northwest (Hagerstown/ Frederick area):

Take I-70 East to, and taking the exit for Rte 32 East; continue east on Rte 32 to, and taking the South entrance to the Baltimore/Washington Parkway (also known to many as Rte 295). Continue south to the Laurel-Bowie exit (Rte 197). Turn toward Bowie - left (south) onto Rte 197, continuing on that road for several miles; the last traffic light you will pass through is the intersection of Rte 197 and (left) Racetrack Road (right) 11th Street. As Rte 197 goes down and then up a hill from that traffic light, upon cresting the hill, you will see Rockledge Elementary School on your left; the entrance to Bowie Country Club comes up quite suddenly on your right (if you pass the Heartfields Senior Assisted Living Complex on your right, you have missed the golf course entrance).

From the North (Baltimore area):

Take Rte 295 (also known as Baltimore/ Washington Parkway) south, continuing south to the Laurel-Bowie exit (Rte 197). keep in left lane of exit and at the light turn left (south) toward Bowie; south on Rte 197 for several miles; the last traffic light you will pass through before the golf course is the intersection of Rte 197 and (left) Racetrack Road (right) 11th Street. From the North and Northeast (East of Baltimore or Glen Burnie, Severna Park and Crofton areas):

Take I-97 south to exit for Bowie - Rte 3 south. Continue south on Rte 3/301 and take Rte 450 West exit, continuing west to its intersection with Rte 197 (also called Laurel-Bowie Road). Turn right (North) onto Rte 197, and continue through the traffic light at the intersection of Rte 197 with Old Chapel Rd (right) and Bowie Shopping Center (left). After passing Whithall Drive (on your right), get into your left lane on Rte 197. Entrance to Bowie Country Club will be on your left side, about 50 yards past the Heartfields Senior Assisted Living Complex, also on your left. From the South (Ft Washington):

Take Rte 210 to Beltway (I-95/495) and head north/west toward Baltimore, continuing until you reach the exit for Central Avenue/Rte 214 East. Continue east on Rte 214 to the exit for Rte 3/301 North. Take Rte 3/301 north to the stop light exit for Rte 197 North (also called Collington Road and then Laurel-Bowie Road). Continue north on Rte 197. Before reaching the golf course, the last traffic light you will pass through is the intersection with Old Chapel Road (right) and Bowie Shopping Center (left). After passing Whithall Drive (on your right), get into your left lane on Rte 197. Entrance to Bowie Country Club will be on your left side, about 50 yards past the Heartfields Senior Assisted Living Complex, also on your left. (Rockledge Elementary School is on the right side of Rte 197, opposite the golf course entrance).
